The Move that Changed My Life
I have always loved the water and wanted to get away from the busy city for the summer but I soon came to realize that not having a car and the fear of driving was ruining my work plans. I was curious on why they had brought to cars and I shortly after realized one was for me. My parents thought it would be a good idea for me to start practicing to drive again on the roads of the little town of Deltaville, where the speed limit does not go over 35 MPH. My future seems more hopeful and full of potential now than it ever has before.
Guy Montag, the main character in Fahrenheit by Ray Bradbury, goes through a huge change in his life. He changes from a typical fireman who follows the laws, into a person who challenges the law. Montag wakes up from being numbed and realizes that he is unhappy. Montag's wife, 'Mildred', who is addicted to Television and radio, did not care about Montag's feelings.
